How To Choose a Proper Adhesive For My Tiles

Consider to check whether is homogeneous or porcelain tiles and are of tile's profile as such based on the current substrate, tiles type, and area critical such as swimming pool and high traffic

Can I Adulteration Adhesive With Ordinary Portland Cement?

It is not recommended to adulterate tile adhesive with OPC. Each product and range has designed with purpose. Doing so will compromise the adhesive's preference and performance, affecting adhesion strength and durability 

Why Do We Need to Mix With Admixture For Certain Like Swimming Pool Or Large Format Tiles For Wall Or Permanent Water Contacted Area Etc

Admixture will enhance performance and also benefits in flexibility. Although introducing admixture will enhance performance, but also consume it immediately with no time delay. This will ensure meet a specification demand by longevity and reliability.

Can I Use Standard C1 for Homogeneous Or Procelain tiles.

Advisable to use higher grade adhesive such as C2. It provides flexibility and strength. Please refer to the product technical engineer of the manufacturer for recommendation for best results. 

Can I Add in Water to Remix Adhesive mortar After 30 Minutes If is Hardened.

Add in water into matured tile adhesive is not recommended. Once begin to set, altering the mortar mixture can compromise the strength and adhesion. If is hardened mortar mix encountered, it is better to remove the affected material and mix a new set of tile adhesive mortar.

Can I Lay Thick Application By Using Adhesive?

For thick application it is not recommended or advised from manufacturer. Adhesive are designed to perform within specific thickness range within 5 millimeters to 10 millimeters. Beyond limit leads to bonding issues. If thick bedding, consider floor screed mortar before adhesives.
